With such a great idea but a limited budget, Crolla was keen to support this local social enterprise, Make Kit, tackling food poverty in Hackney. As a brand consultant, Crolla gave direction on creating a more impactful brand, looking at identity and tone of voice, colour and photography, as well as giving some outline graphic identity guidelines to strengthen visual impact and clarity of offer.
This tied in with Make Kit’s launch as a purely vegetarian and vegan meal kit provider, and gave a great opportunity to use veg-powered messaging to promote the change. Crolla also made suggestions for improving clarity of design on recipe cards and some cost-effective solutions in the use of the brand on packaging.
